Senior Drilling Engineer HPHT / HTHP vacancy job
This market segment is very short of good Senior Drilling Engineers for a variety of clients in a variety of Global locations. You must have experience of HPHT / HTHP drilling either onshore or offshore and be able to demonstrate that you can provide the client with an excellent package of on the job experience, the ability to mentor and train other Engineers of varying nationalities. These jobs and vacancies are not always current but when they become live the clients are keen to find that best in class and pay accordingly.
HPHT / HTHP vacancy job requirements;
The successful applicant will have been educated to HND/HTS/Graduate in Engineering or Physical Science or equivalent and will have extensive Well Engineering experience, including assignments as Well Design Engineer, Well Operations Engineer, Well-site Operations Engineer and preferably also as Drilling Supervisor (DSVR).
The HPHT / HTHP Senior Drillingrole requires substantial competence in HPHT / HTHP well planning / operations; HSE awareness and management; current approved well engineering computer packages; casing design; cost and risk estimating; working with project, rig and asset teams. Specific HPHT well design and operational experience will be essential.
Knowledge of project management techniques and working in broad multi-disciplinary teams will be required, as will an appreciation of HAZIDs, QRA and other risk management tools.
