Toolpusher

TEAM Energy is looking for a Toolpusher for our client in the United Arab Emirates.

Location: UAE - Dubai - Offshore Jack-up Rig
Duration: 1 year contract
Contract Basis: contract
Format: rotational

Role description

The Toolpusher will supervise the workover and drilling operations and associated activities to ensure it is in accordance with the well program. Additionally the Toolpusher will ensure workover and drilling operations are carried out in a safe, efficient and productive manner.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure pre-job meeting is carried out for all non-routine drilling operations
  • Ensure the Driller is informed on an ongoing basis
  • Monitor the maintenance, repair and installation of all drilling equipment including repair, lubrication, maintenance records and inventory levels
  • Maintain records where required (inspections, certs of drilling equipment, tools etc..)
  • Ensure the mud mixing systems and solid control equipment are being monitored constantly and properly maintained
  • Relieve the Driller at the Driller's console as operational requirements demand
  • Partake is the daily operations meeting with OIM, Senior Toolpusher and other rig department heads
  • Monitor the application of the Company Preventative Maintenance System
  • Review and approve all drilling related work permits
  • Supervise equipment preparation
  • Assist in planning the job activities of the drilling department
  • Ensure that well control requirements are in place according to the operational requirements.
  • Health, Safety and Environment job elements to fulfil

Experience

  • 15+ years experience in the industry
  • Strong HSE background

Qualifications

  • Highest formal qualifications to be shared
  • Valid BOSIET
  • Valid OGUK approved Medical Certificate or equivalent
  • Valid Well Control Certificate to be shared
  • Valid Standards of training, certification and watchkeeping for Seafarers Basic Safety training (STCW BST)
