Are you a veteran Deepwater Drilling Engineer with specialized expertise in Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD)? We are currently seeking a high-level consultant for a long-term project supporting a major operator's deepwater campaigns. This is a strategic role requiring a minimum of 20 years of global experience, with a heavy emphasis on deepwater projects and modern MPD well design. The Role: -Status: 28/28 Rotation. -Location: Office-based in India -Duration: Minimum 12 months (Long-term project). -Focus: Leading the design and operational planning for deepwater exploratory, appraisal, and development wells using MPD technology. Key Responsibilities: -Develop drilling and completion programs and procedures for all MPD-related activities. -Provide office-based technical support for operational execution and equipment selection. -Introduce global deepwater MPD best practices in well design. -Carry out HAZID/HAZOP and develop risk analysis to mitigate complex deepwater risks. -Ensure technical integrity and well barriers at every stage of the operation. Requirements: -Experience: 20+ years in global drilling; 10+ years as a Senior Engineer/Manager in Deepwater. -Regional Expertise: Minimum 5 years of Gulf of Mexico (GOM) deepwater experience is highly preferred. -Software: Expert proficiency in Landmark drilling software (Compass & Well Plan). -Technical Skills: Skilled in trajectories, hydraulics, T&D, kick tolerance, and swab/surge analysis. Certification: Valid IWCF Subsea Level 4 and BOSIET preferred.
