Rig Logistics Supervisor

TEAM Energy is currently working with an international company seeking a Rig Logistics Supervisor for offshore work in Tarfa.

Role description

The Rig Logistics Supervisor is a key role within the Rig and Well Operations Support department to ensure that sufficient drilling material and equipment is available at all times to guarantee an uninterrupted drilling operation of the jack-up or Land Drilling Unit.
The role co-ordinates all material, equipment, consumables and personnel movement to and from his offshore / Onshore unit.

Planning of material and personnel movements in the operational look ahead.
Liaise with Logistics Superintendent for vessel or trucking load out / backloads to ensure cost effectiveness of logistics.
Collect materials information from engineers and update the drilling materials request as per drilling schedule.
Maintain cost efficiency by ensuring high cost rental items are back loaded at first available opportunity et
Pursue Inventory reduction and avoid new purchases by utilisation / modification of available inventory.

Have a minimum of five (5) years of international experience at supervisory level covering all materials and logistics processes in the oilfield industry

Advance course in Supply Chain Management and Logistics
Valid OPITO approved BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction Emergency Training) certificate. HUET & Sea Survival may be accepted at the discretion of HSE Department – CV must include expiry date
Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness for Offshore Work – CV must include expiry date
