Senior Drilling Supervisor

TEAM Energy is looking for an experienced Senior Drilling Supervisor for Deepwater Rig work in India.

Role description

This is a senior role for an industry expert ready to take overall operational responsibility for a world-class Deepwater rig site.

Responsibilities

  • To conduct operations safely, in compliance with Government regulations, and in accordance with the Company's Operating Management System (OMS).
  • Collaborate with the Rig team to ensure personal safety, well control and process safety.
  • Provide safety leadership, guidance, training and mentorship to other Supervisors, Engineers and Rig Crew to enhance their skills.
  • Identify and assess HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) and operational risks, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Oversee and monitor Rig site operations carried out by drilling Rig, ensuring adherence to Company-provided plans and programs.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective operations on the Rig.

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years' offshore rig experience.
  • Minimum 10 years as a Drilling Supervisor.
  • Minimum 5 years as Day Drilling Supervisor for Deepwater Rig.
  • Worked in deep water depths ranges.
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Technical/ engineering graduation degree.
  • Suitably trained for deep water Rig operations.
